This is a digital version of The Man Called Uncle Tim #1, which is now out of print. It has been made from scans of each page of the riso printed zine, flaws and all. It is fairly low resolution and only meant for viewing on a screen. The file is still very large so when you order it, I will send it to you through a file transfer service. If you order the full set of zines, the digital version of issue one is free!
The first in a series of zines about my uncle who died in 1995 and who I never really knew. In collaboration with members of my family, I try to understand how he lived and loved in a polyamorous queer Quaker intentional community in rural Ohio.
Half comic book; half zine. Features oral history with my Grandma and a brief introduction to Quakerism in the US. 32 pages, two colour (blue and black) riso printed throughout with over 30 original illustrations. Printed by Footprint Workers Co-op.
Free riso printed bookmark with every zine! More images from the zine can be found here.
