This is the first chapter of my epic graphic novel. It's explores two character's relationship with each other, with work, with home and what happens when the foundations of one or all of those are undermined. The story is loosely based on the lyrics of the Joanna Newsom song Leaving the City, so I guess you could call it fan fiction.
