Two different sized small stoneware bowls in a purpose made poplar tray for serving condiments or dips at the table. Both bowls are glazed in transparent and one of my signature pale glazes and have iron oxide brushed on the rim. The tray is made from reclaimed poplar and has routered holes that fit the base of the bowls perfectly. The handle of the tray is slightly raised on the underside to make it easier to pick up and pass around.
It is shown here holding extra virgin olive oil and za'atar but the possible combinations are endless depending on how fancy you want to get: dukkah, chilli flakes, fresh herbs, nuac cham, hoisin sauce, raita, chimichurri or just plain old salt and pepper.
