Hand thrown stackable stoneware bowls with abstract leaf design. Glazed transparent all over with a pool of pale blue or green glaze on the inside bottom. Named after leafcutter bees that cut segments of leaves or flower petals to line their nests and keep their food from drying out.
These bowls are made from my own reclaimed clay, which contains a variety of impurities from the volcanic sand and rocks I add to my pots. The result is lovely, unpredictable iron blooms throughout the bowls. These bold, dark spots compliment the pale, subtle design. There is a discounted price when you order two or more bowls.
